At Chud Hosting, we understand that this can often be hard & time–consuming. This is why we’ll perform all that for you for free!Our practiced technical team reps will migrate your website content from your current web hosting provider to us. Our techs have extensive experience migrating websites and are able to take care of everything – from a normal WordPress–powered blog or Joomla^™–driven website, to a very elaborate, custom–made application.

A: There are a lot of factors to consider – the overall amount of web files, the physical size of the database, the complexity of the site itself and the current workload of our web site migration professionals, etc. Even so, we do our best to perform all web site migrations in a 48–hour time period. Less sizeable web sites are migrated faster – usually in under 24 hours.

A: Yes. We will need to have the name of the website that you would like us to migrate. We will also need a means to access your current hosting account so that we can get the content pertaining to your site.

A: Our Privacy Policy is an indivisible part of the contract that we will have with you as a customer. We are devoted to protecting the safety of the personal data collected from the clients. For this purpose, we employ technical security measures to avoid the loss, the misappropriation, the alteration or the unauthorized leak of the personal information under our control. The security measures include, but are not limited to: physical, digital and managerial procedures to protect and secure the data that we gather on the World Wide Web. When we request users to provide financial information (for example, a debit card number), this info is shielded using the SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) encryption method.

A: While we transfer your web site, it will be available both in your web hosting account with us and in your account with your old hosting provider. As soon as the transfer is complete, we’ll make sure that everything is working properly and that the integrity of your web content is not affected before telling you that the migration is done. After that, we will explain to you how to move the domain to your hosting account with us and how to edit the DNS records.

A: Nah. We will never contact your hosting provider about anything at all. They will not be aware of the website migration either.

A: We can migrate your site from any hosting provider or any Linux–driven hosting platform as long as we can gain access to the Control Panel and there’s FTP access available.The only websites that we are unable to transfer are those based on closed–source software apps such as Wix, BaseKit, Jimdo, Website Tonight, Four Square and Mr Site.
